HARLEM STAGE ANNUAL GALA

A DROP OF MIDNIGHT

We are pleased to present Harlem Stage's 2022 Gala. This year's event, co-chaired by Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy, will feature the Opening Night of A Drop of Midnight, a WaterWorks commissioned show written and performed by world-renowned hip-hop artist Jason "Timbuktu" Diakité.

This year's Gala honorees include artist-activist Carrie Mae Weems, receiving our Transformative Artist Award, and dancer Sun Kim, receiving our Emerging Artist Award.

Due to the international excitement about the premiere and run of A Drop of Midnight, we are holding the event at two venues -- live at the iconic Harlem Stage Gatehouse and livestreamed at the hip Malt House in Harlem. The expanded audience in Harlem, across the nation and the globe, will also have the option to live-stream the production from home.

Following the show, all guests will come together to enjoy exclusive cocktails, delectable hors d'oeuvres, and dancing at the Malt House to the music of DJ April Hunt. After several years of isolation, we all deserve a good party!

The evening will also feature an awards ceremony and special guests. To purchase a Gala Committee or General Admission ticket see below. To find out more information about sponsorship or for other questions, please contact jmarrero@harlemstage.org
