Alisha Johnson-Wilder

Alisha Johnson Wilder is the Senior Director of External Engagement for Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives at Apple, and also leads the company’s global Community Investment efforts.

Prior to joining Apple, Wilder served in the Obama Administration as Deputy Communications Director and Press Secretary for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and Senior Advisor for Climate Communications at the U.S. State Department.

She began her career as a television journalist, and has led public relations for a broad range of business, consumer and non-profit organizations.

Wilder serves on the advisory board of MIT's Climate and Sustainability Consortium, and on the Board of Directors for Monterey Bay Aquarium and Harlem Stage.

She is the inaugural recipient of AfroTech's Corporate Catalyst Award, and holds bachelor’s degrees in broadcast journalism and sociology from the University of Missouri.
