Todd Wilder is a faculty member at Apple University, providing wide-ranging and unique educational programs for Apple employees. Prior to this he was the global communications lead for Apple’s silicon and hardware technologies, shaping media relations and external engagement strategy for some of the company’s most significant competitive differentiators. He also led industry analyst relations, briefing influential voices on Apple’s hardware and software features, earnings data, and key geopolitical issues. In his 20+ years at the company, Todd has worked on all major product launches and numerous other notable events, including the introductions of iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and AirPods.
Prior to joining Apple, Todd was senior account executive at Edelman managing accounts for consumer technology clients, and was previously the program coordinator for the non-profit organization Estrella Family Services.
As a drummer and vocalist, Todd has written, recorded, and performed music in front of audiences since the age of 13, spanning genres including jazz, reggae, blues, and punk rock. He sits on the board of Camp Kaleidoscope, an organization that delivers a week-long camping experience to children who have or had a parent with cancer, and is a “scout” of under-recognized artists for The Belle Foundation for Cultural Development.
Todd has a bachelor's degree in communications from San Jose State University, and a wine education certification from WSET.
