Radio through the 1940's (pre-television) was a major way that folks not only heard music, but also fictional stories, advertisements for local products, sporting events, and the news. A very popular story line was the detective story. Actors Daniel Carlton and Nambi Kelley will not only perform a fictional radio show ...a mystery where  Langston Hughes  has to go to a private detective to help him to solve the mystery of a missing manuscript of poems that could have been left at one of many rent parties that Mr. Hughes attended over the last month ; You the audience will have an opportunity to  SEE: Actual Rent Party Invitations from Langston Hughes Collection.
